This is a text-book pairing to produce a dressage horse – the mare, from the Conesa line, is a good 16.3 hands, and absolutely flawlessly conformed.  She has been the Reserve morphology champion twice at Las Vegas, and has three true gaits and compellingly impressive structure.  The sire of UNICO GF is the “qualified” stallion, *GAUCHO III, who has proven himself an extraordinary sport horse, as well as an exemplary sire of this type of horse.   This stallion achieved his “qualified” status when he was 17 years old, which is unheard of – and he has produced many foals of legendary quality, some of which are already following in his footsteps in the dressage arena.

This lovely colt is the first foal of PANADORA, who is an elegant, complete young mare who is the daughter of an imported half sister to GAUCHO III.  The dam of PANADORA, named VENDIMIADORA, has given extraordinary offspring, and the quality of this pedigree will be evident to those interesting in genetics in the PRE.  PASCAL’s sire is a “qualified” stallion, confirming his superior attributes, and the grandsire of this colt (*GAUCHO III) is also a “qualified” stallion – making this one of the first born in this country to have this confirmation of quality built into his genetics, together with the potential for inherited athletic ability on all sides.  This colt is friendly and uncomplicated, a lovely bay color, with no white on him.

The elegance of both sire and dam (a daughter of INDIANO XVIII) is evident in this truly super young colt.   He has a beautiful head, and movement that should definitely make him the dressage prospect he was bred to be, particularly through his QUALIFIED sire, *GAUCHO III.  His temperament is totally sweet, making him easy to handle, and very endearing.

As the son of  *SALOME JIM, this colt has as his grand-dam SOÑADORA XVII, who bore the brand of Romero Benitez, and was an electrifdying mover.   His grand-sire is REMADOR a ‘closed line’ cartujano stallion who has been an exceptional producer both in Spain and in Mexico.  The sire of SALINERO GF is an imported spanish black stallion who gives tremendous movement and size.  This colt is almost white already, with a black mane and tail, and a head of extraordinary expression and beauty.  He is our youngest foal from this year, but is developing very well.

ULTIMO GF: Grey Colt:  March 17, 2007: Eligible for Inscription in Spanish Stud Book (*INDIANO XVIII x *URBANA JIM)

Born early in the year, this colt is already quite developed – he is almost white, with a black mane and tail.  He is a line bred individual, which h would make him an important breeding stallion in the future – as he has 20.6% consanguinity to the line of *INDIANO XVIII.  His dam, *URBANA JIM was the reserve champion mare at the Celebration 2006 in Las Vegas – she is very tall and very elegant, but with great bone and a statuesque presence.  For the knowledgeable breeder, this young colt is really special.

This self confident, assertive, sensible colt carries our hopes and dreams that he will live up to the meaning of his name “Keen”  who will be remembered with reverence by those interested in dressage in the past 20 years or so.    One never knows, but he doesn’t have a flighty bone in his body, and has accepted all his beginning training and handling with dignity and calmness. His big bones and large joints foretell a decent size, and he is already very well balanced. This cross of the blood of *GAUCHO III, the “qualified stallion”  and INDIANO XVIII should prove successful in the dressage ring – we are certainly aiming for this, and would only be interested in selling him to such a home.  His pedigree also includes the legendary LEVITON.

This wonderful colt represents the quality that we are achieving from the “qualified” stallion *DOMINANTE XXIX who has an extraordinary effect on all who see him.  This first colt is grey, like his dam, and shows very special class – great balance and super correct conformation.  He is expressive, and carries the blood of *INDIANO XVIII as well to make him an even more special mover.

Bred especially for dressage, BIONICO MIR has already shown the spectacular balance and suspension that will be needed in the future and inherited from his “qualified” sire, *GAUCHO III.   At the Celebration 2005 in Santa Barbara, he was first in Weanling colts, and as a yearling the next year took second.  He is growing steadily and is full of strength and the ability to work over his back and has been under saddle for a number of months.  His dam, *OBELIA JIM was a spectacular mover herself, as a daughter of *INDIANO XVIII and an extraordinary moving mare called *BRIOSA XXIV, from mainly the lines of Miguel Angel Cardenas.  We expect this young stallion to make his mark  in dressage, both nationally, and perhaps internationally.

LADINO GF: Black/Bay Colt, Born April 8, 2004  Inscribed with Spanish Studbook and Registered with IALHA.

This extremely leggy colt has already grown to over 16 hands, and is not yet 3 years old.  He is a very dark black/bay and shows the promise of athleticism of his internationally famous sire, the qualified stallion, *GAUCHO III, as well as the class and quality of his pitch black 16.2 hand “Escalera” dam, who at 23 years of age is an irreplaceable treasure to us and to the P.R.E. world in general   LADINO GF has a lovely round profile to his head and his whole body follows this curve.  His movement and conformation has drawn great attention both here, and from experts from Spain, and we expect that he will be a performer and sire in a realm by himself.  His morphology score at the Fiesta California in Temecula was the highest of his age group by far.

This cross of *GAUCHO III and NINFA GF has produced a number of wonderful offspring, NOBLE GF, NICOLA GF and NEXUS GF.  Now we have NIRVANA GF who is a very beautiful  dark grey addition to this list of special stars.   She is exquisite in the face, and has lovely suspension in her movement – definitely bred to be a dressage prospect, or the dam of other prospects.

TOSCA GF:  Grey Filly:  May 15, 2007: Eligible for Inscription in Spanish Stud Book (*GENIL MAC x *TECLA JIM)

As the first offspring in the US of the newly imported Miguel Angel Cardenas stallion *GENIL MAC, this foal was most eagerly awaited – and she is more than we could have hoped for – with spectacular suspended, floating movement, a long elegant neck, wonderful head, and overall balance.  She is absolutely a star, one of our very best foals ever.  She is taller than one could have hoped for, with straight legs, and wonderful bone and loving temperament.  What a package!!

VICTORIOSA GF: Bay filly: June 15, 2007: Eligible for Inscription in Spanish Stud Book (*DOMINANTE XXIX x *VENDIMIADORA)

This is our first offspring from the “qualified” stallion *DOMINANTE XXIX, and we are absolutely thrilled with her.   Her dam is a half sister to the wonderful dressage sire, *GAUCHO III. The filly is a wonderful light bay, with no white on her, and true elegance, both in her conformation, and her movement.  She is an angel to work with.

This filly has been genetically tested, and is black (E/e – a/a) – she is a pure Maria Fernanda de la Escalera line, as both sire and dam were bred at that farm in Spain.  This filly exhibits a beautiful head, and enormous eyes.  She would be an asset to any breeding farm where the black color is desired.  She has been handled lovingly since birth, and is friendly and outgoing.

This extraordinarily beautiful filly has been genetically tested, and she is homozygous black E/E – a/a.  The has an exquisite head, and besides being an extreme beauty is also a truly lovely mover.  Her dam MIMOSA GF, is from MADONA, whose dam was GLORIOSA  and this line has proved to be absolutely magical – this particular filly is a real black pearl!!

At 21 years old, our magnificent LADINA has graced us with the gift of this extraordinary filly. Although she was not huge to start, she has grown hourly – she never walks if she can fun, and she leaps and spins and slides to a stop just for the joy of it.  She is outgoing in the extreme, and would come in the house if she could. Consanguinity is 3.92%.  She is color tested black, although it is pretty obvious that she is black, and only has a tiny spray of white hairs on her forehead, just for luck!

With the idea of cementing the beauty, movement and type of these two extraordinary individuals, this line breeding was undertaken, and the filly is a picture of what we had hoped for.  She has a consanguinity of 28.76%, but she is strong and vigorous and full of character and although both parents are grey, she is a beautiful light bay, with glowing big eyes - Wow.

TCHULA GF: Bay Filly, born May 8, 2005 – Inscribed in Spanish Stud Book (*GAUCHO III x TECLA JIM)

Pronounced ‘CHULA’, this is the first foal of our huge exotic mare TECLA JIM. This mare is over 16.2, and is a treasure for so many reasons. She has huge power and elegance and moves like an athlete in the extreme – she was very well received in the show ring as a yearling and a two year old. Her filly TCHULA has a star and 3 small socks – she has wonderful balance, and long legged elegance in her movement. Above all, this filly has displayed a temperament unlike any we have encountered – sweet, sensible, calm and intelligent. What a mare she will be – a daughter of *GAUCHO III and a granddaughter of REMADOR II!

KARISMA GF: Grey filly, born July 9 th, 2005 – Inscribed in Spanish Stud Book (*DOCTOR XVI x KIKA GF)

KIKA GF is the youngest of our INDIANO XVIII broodmares, and has been a super producer for us. She carries the legendary movement of her sire, and definitely passes it on to her foals. Her 2005 filly was born later in the year, but KARISMA GF certainly has charisma, particularly in her own mind! She is self confident, bubbly almost mischievous in her temperament, fun to be around. She shows the wonderful bone and structure of her handsome sire, and we see no faults.
