Bruja XLIII: Bay mare: Born Feb. 10, 2000, Barcelona, Spain, Codigo 2208052 (EBANISTO x SOBERBIA) |
| The suspension in this mare is hard to believe. She is absolutely extraordinary, and certainly should produce the type of movement for dressage foals. She is 15.3 hand and was a gold medal winner and best movement in Murcia in 2001. Besides inheriting the stunningly beautiful elastic movement of EBANISTO, her sire, she has , through her dam, the movement of the horses of Salvador Sanchez-Barbudo, whose ALEGRE XIX was a sensation for movement.

Tecla Jim: Bay Mare - Born Jan 2001 Mexico - She is Inscribed in The Spanish Stud Book (NODRIZA III x REMADOR II) Eligible for IALHA
Bay - filly |
| This bay mare carries quite a lot of white she has socks and a blaze. She is an extraordinary mover, and her dam, the enormous NODRIZA III is a granddaughter of one of the best moving mares (who passes it on) ever to leave Spain, called ENEIDA. This is only the second daughter of REMADOR II to come to the United States. This stallion is known world wide for the quality of his offspring. This mare represents an extreme potential as a dressage competitor and/or producer, she is 16.3 1/2 hands already, but with superb balance. TECLA JIM is in foal to GUMIEL a very successful competing, qualified, dressage stallion in Spain.

Navila: Grey mare. Born Feb. 28,1995 (Mexico) - IALHA #4590(S) Spanish Stud Book #21MX576
Approved for breeding in The Spanish Stud Book
(*INDIANO XVIII x MENSAJERA XII) |
| Both sire and dam represent the exceptional heavily Cartujano bloodlines of Romero Benitez of Spain. and this mare exhibits extraordinary beauty as well as great athleticism. She has a beautiful head with large soft eyes, a strong back and huge rounded croup, with a very low tail-set. She inherits wonderful straight movement from both parents, and her sire has, of course, passed on some of his suspension and elegance as well. This mare has had a year of professional training, and she represents especially important brood-mare potential, as well as great show possibilities. She was champion young mare under spanish judging at the Celebration 2001 in Las Vegas and Reserve Days Senior Mare in 2002. She has produced wonderful bay colts from GAUCHO III and one from OLIMPCO VII and in 2004 an extraordinary bay filly from INDIANO XVIII IN 2007 - she has presented a gorgeous foal by the qualified stallion DOMINANTE XXIX. in 2009, named NAIROBI GF. She is in foal to the super Guardiola sire, *FEUDAL VII for 2012. She has produced bay and grey foals.

NINFA GF: Grey mare. Born Apr. 23, 1998 IALHA # 4220(S) : Inscribed in Spanish Stud Bk. (*INDIANO XVIII x NINA XI). |
| From the day of her birth, NINFA has been about as mellow a filly as you could imagine. She has inherited the size and strength of her illustrious grandsire, *REGALADO II, as well as the gentle nature of her dam, NINA XI. She has huge potential as a dressage mount, based on her movement, and she proved very trainable because of her temperament. She has good bone, great feet, and a wonderfully convex head. She is the opposite of "hot". She is over 16.3 hands and has had 4 months of training, and responded to it exceptionally well. Her 2003 colt by GAUCHO III seems to be what we have been breeding for all these years. NINFA has a foal at her side this year from Qualified Spanish Grand Prix competitor. GOTARDO, from San Fernando La Macarena in Spain, and now sold to Chile. NINFA is in foal to *GAUCHO III, with hopes for another "BIONICO" in 2012!!

Ladina: Black Mare. Born Jan. 14, 1985. IALHA #1110(S) (GANADOR VIII x CUBANA VII) - died Oct. 2010, we will mourn her loss for years to come. |
| During a trip to Spain in 1986 we were captivated by a special black filly - *LADINA was bred by Manuel de Novales Vasco , (Maria Fernanda Escalera de la Escalera), and has developed into a horse of the exceptional quality of her huge black dam. CUBANA VII and her aristocratic granddam, VALENCIANA XVII who at the age of 21, was still totally electrifying. The sire of CUBANA VII is the legendary black sire JECOMIAS belonging to the Yeguada Militar (Military Stud Farm). *LADINA's sire is the majestic GANADOR VIII who was bred by D. Francisco Lazo Diaz, from originally Terry stock, and he has currently won himself a place as the major sire of the famous bay and black 'Escalera' herd due to the quality of his foals. *LADINA's exciting height 16-2 hands, exceptional harmony of conformation and shiny black color, impressed the judges in four trips to the show-ring in 1988. In October 1989 she overwhelmed the competition and was named TIAHA National Champion Mare, a unanimous choice of three judges, and in fact also won the blue ribbon in her first performance class. She has taken her place as one of our foundation brood-mares, and was, of course, presented for revision, and approved by the Spanish Commission in 1994. *LADINA'S dam. CUBANA VII tragically died early in 1987, making this mare even more precious, as she is the last of a line. representing 200 years of knowledgeable and dedicated breeding. Amongst others, she has produced the following foals; REINA GF, NAVARRE GF, LADINA GF, MANOLETE GF, BYZANTINO, CUBANO, LEVANTE, LILIA GF, LIBERTAD GF, LANZARAC GF, LEBRIJANO GF, LUMINOSO GF. These products were from the Stallions; TEODORO. *GUARAPO, ADELANTE DOCTOR XVI AND *INDIANO XVIII. Eight of them were black, one bay and two grey. These treasures are out of one of the most important mares to come to these shores. Her 2006 black filly named LIBIANA GF was born in September, 1996 and belongs to a dear friend, Roxy Montana.

KIKA GF: Grey Mare. Born June 26, 1998 IALHA #4378(S) Approved for breeding in SPANISH STUD BOOK #1905591
(*INDIANO XVIII x KARAKUL) |
| Currently much lighter grey than this photograph, almost totally white, in fact, KIKA GF shows much of the quality of her heavily "Romero Benitez" pedigree - she is strong and wide in the chest, exciting in her movement and a great asset as a broodmare. Her filly KARISMA GF has inherited her super movement. as have her other offspring - she is a classic representative of the INDIANO XVIII line. KIKA is confirmed in foal for 2012 to the special Cardenas stallion, *PAGANO MAC"
