*NECORA  VIII: Grey filly, Born May 14, 2006;  Carta - Spanish Codigo 002515257 (ORFEBRE V x YESERA IV)

Bred by, this lovely bold, tall filly shows evidence of her  Yeguada Militar heritage.   Her sire, bred by Benito Sierra, is himself the son of OFICIAL XXVII bred by Jose Luis Marin Garcia.  Her dam is a very tall mare with a wonderful head and neck, and the substance of her YM type.  *NECORA shows strong, loose dressage movement, super bone, and has taken her trip from Spain, in the dead of winter, like it was not a problem – a very reliable temperament. She has been genetically tested, and shows EE/aa meaning that she carries a black gene which is masked by the grey, but present.

Not only is this brave little fellow a wonderful dark buckskin, but his beautiful dam is a daughter of EVENTO, and *ODEON carries the legendary LEVITON twice in his pedigree. Also bred by Fernando Piqué Llussà, this colt made the trip to these shores at only just 6 months of age, and handled it with great style.  His temperament is quite extraordinary.   *ODEON’S sire is a ‘bayo’, and his sire, CARAMELO II is also of the same color. Genetically this colt is Ee/Aa/Ccr.  His dam shows Yeguada Militar on both sides, all the way back, and she is a fabulous moving individual of great beauty and class, and his sire is a wonderful mover, as well, and is also ‘bayo’.

This elegant black filly, with no white markings, is the first offspring of Hacienda Santa Lucia’s stunning new black stallion – who stands a good 16,2 hands, and AZUL’s dam if one of the new black mares, whose pedigree is pure “Bocado”.  She is still shy from her harrowing trip to the US, but warming up every day.

This gorgeous filly shows lots of “chrome”, she has 4 white socks, a star and a strip, and she is absolutely an extraordinary mover – very high and animated in her steps.  She is bold and friendly in spite of her great trip at such a young age.  Her Grandsire is the ‘Urquijo’ stallion, Estimado V who was himself the son of another pure “Bocado” stallion Cortesano IV.

This lovely light bay filly was bred by Yeguada Piqué Angel and represents pure Yeguada Militar lines.  She has classic, powerful movement, and extreme harmony in her structure. She is the daughter of a 16.3 hand pure Yeguada Militar mare, whose foals are renowned for size and temperament.  Her sire OBRERO IV is the son of an exceptionally well regarded stallion by the name of BIZARRO XIV.  MANDANGA II is especially valuable as a broodmare with a consanguinity of 3.44% , but her balance and beauty and temperament  would make her just as good a show mare.  She has been well handled and is quiet and sensible, outgoing and friendly
